About

My "ideal" client is a pre-teen, teenager, young adult, adult, couple, and family. Together we can work on any number of issues from communication to adjusting to new life circumstances; events from your past that are impacting your present; parenting children or teens, or individuating from parents; anxiety, depression and other matters of mood; relationships with family, friends and coworkers; co-dependency and self-advocacy; personal values and belief systems.... I'm here to meet you where you are & to support you as you evolve into your best self. My "speciality," or treatment style, is best described as "eclectic" since I've been trained in many theories of psychology. I draw mostly from child-centered play therapy (non-directive & directive), post-traumatic growth therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), gestalt therapy, humanism, logo therapy, & strength-based solution-focused therapy. Prior to opening my private practice in 2017, I worked for community mental health centers in client homes, in school settings and in-office, worked as a K-12 school counselor, administered academic testing, and assessed, diagnosed and conducted treatment planning for clients ages 3-75 years. Finally, I'm a mom!
