Hi there! I wanted to take a moment to welcome you and introduce myself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I am Board Certified in Tele Mental Health and am a National Certified Counselor. I have been practicing for 20 years I have provided individual, group and family therapy in a variety of settings. I have provided treatment to individuals and families with complex mental health and behavioral issues, and there is not an area of emotional well-being that has not presented itself to me in treatment over the years. People often ask how I can be a therapist. Simple, I have a passion for helping others heal. I believe everyone is on a continuing journey of growth and self-development, and I am honored to join you on yours. My role as your therapist is to create an atmosphere where you can openly discuss anything on your mind and in your heart that weighs you down and keeps you stuck. In our work together, the one thing you can count on is positive regard and a judgment-free zone. Therapy is an amazing tool that involves a team ( you and I ) where we will mend and restore what has hindered you from living the life you choose. Together we will dive into experiences, thoughts, feelings and behaviors and develop a plan so that you have the strategies to move forward with confidence. Here is a fun fact about me! I love animals, especially dogs and horses. I have a Chocolate Lab named Zuma and he is a certified therapy dog, so together we provide animal-assisted therapy within our community to children and adults.
