About

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 39 years' experience working with individuals, couples and families. I work to create a warm and compassionate atmosphere in which clients have the confidence to grow and thrive. My training is in Dialectical Behavior, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused, Mindfulness-Based, Motivational Interviewing and client-centered therapy. I work with clients to identify their goals and obstacles to reaching those goals. Clients often enter therapy dealing with depression, anxiety, effects of trauma and relationship issues. We work to develop skills to reduce hurtful thoughts and feelings and to develop healthy behaviors that lead to a more satisfying life.
