Banafsheh Sanjari is a licensed clinical social worker. Banafsheh provides a strengths-based, person-centered, eclectic approach tailored to each patient’s goals and needs. She empowers her patients so they can achieve their goals and build a life they want. In the session, Banafsheh uses cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. She creates a culturally-sensitive, comfortable, safe environment for her patients so they can speak from the heart. Banafsheh has been providing therapy since 2016 and works with patients up to 65 years old. She treats ADHD, anxiety, maladaptive coping skills, depression, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), peer relationships, intimate relationship issues, school-related issues, self-esteem problems, stress, trauma, PTSD, women’s issues, impulse control issues, mood disorders. She also has extensive experience working with high-risk patients. Outside of work, Banafsheh loves reading fiction. She speaks Farsi and English.
