Hello! My name is Autumn Raborn, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (Mental Health Service Provider) in the state of Tennessee. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile!

I obtained my Masters of Education in Professional Counseling in 2016. I have provided individual counseling for the past six years in a variety of treatment settings. I have been working for Find A Therapist providing teletherapy for about a year and a half. I have helped others with a wide range of issues, but I have most commonly treated mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, family of origin issues, and those who are coping with life changes. Therapy can be a great way to build new habits, process negative thoughts and feelings, and learn new skills to address life’s challenges. My approach to counseling is heavily influenced by humanistic and client-centered therapy. Counseling is similar to going on a road trip -you are in the driver’s seat steering the way and making all the choices. I am in the passenger seat offering directions and encouragement. My goal for us is to create a safe space for growth, empowerment, and authenticity.

I do not provide counseling from a Christian-based/pastoral care perspective, but I am open to discussing ideas of how to incorporate religion and spirituality as a part of your self-care if this is a topic of importance. I provide weekly or bi-weekly sessions Monday through Thursday in the format of video, phone, or live messaging. I do not accept direct messaging only clients for therapy services. At this time I do not have any late evening appointments (after 6pm central time) available. Please take a close look at my schedule to make sure it works with your own.

Per state licensing regulations, I am only able to practice in the state of Tennessee, with residents who physically reside in the state of Tennessee. This means that if you live in another state, we cannot begin counseling services until you are physically back in the state of Tennessee.
