My name is Assma Khatib and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I offer psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families, ranging from the ages of 7 to adults. I have dedicated my career to helping others heal inner wounds at their own pace. My years of experience with diverse populations has shaped me to be a therapist that uses a strengths based, person-centered approach. I prefer to work at a pace that is best suitable for clients and help them take action towards things they feel are best for their progress. I believe that it is important for my clients to be aware of their emotions and to be able to have that sense of control back. My areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, behavioral issues and relationships. My main priority in therapy is to meet my client where they are and to use an approach that will work best for them as we work toward meeting your therapy goals. It takes courage to take the first step towards change and I assure you that I will provide you with a safe space to explore your concerns. I look forward at being part of your journey.
