Hi there! I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts. I have a Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida and a Masters degree in Social Work from Florida State University. I have several years of experience working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse and I am currently a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Massachusetts. I have also worked with many individuals who struggle with anxiety, parenting skills, low self-esteem, and panic disorders.

I believe my strength as a counselor starts with providing an empathetic ear to my clients. I prefer to take a very collaborative approach in my counseling, as I believe the only way to find a solution is to work together. I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and I prefer to use mindfulness to help my clients stay positive and in the moment. I feel the most important part of any counseling service, however, is meeting the client where they are, so I will always begin the conversation by getting a better understanding of what you hope to achieve from the service.

In my personal life I would definitely consider myself a nerd. I enjoy watching movies (action and sci-fi), reading (regular and comic books), and spending time with my dalmatian puppy.
