I commend you on taking the difficult first step towards seeking extra support during a challenging point in your life.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and graduated from Pepperdine University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I specializes in working with children and adolescents within their family system, and utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT and motivational interviewing, along with my love for creative arts to engage children and their families. I believes it is important to recognize the role that a family plays in a child’s life, and therefore I often attempt to engage present family member’s in the child’s treatment. I also have experience working with at risk adults in a community mental health setting.
I work on individualizing my approach when working with different presenting challenges, such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD.
