About
Hey!
My name is Ashley, I am a compassionate and optimistic clinician with 8 plus years of experience working with various populations in multiple social service settings. I take great pride in the work I do with clients as I try my very best to help every client to reach his or her full potential. I am down to earth, encouraging, and understanding provider who truly believes that there is always light at the end of every tunnel!
I have worked/interned in a transitional home for young women, a detox setting for substance abuse, and an eating disorder unit for adolescents through adult years. Additionally, a domestic violence shelter for women and their children, and outreach setting catering to the homeless/ most vulnerable, as well as a co-occurring institution working with individuals struggling with acute or chronic mental dysfunctions and/substance use.
I am dedicated to working with all clients and take a special interest in working with clients dealing with mood disorders, trauma, life change, and with that coping through life challenges, to name a few. Having gained my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology specializing in Mental Health and my Licensed Professional Licensure , I am committed to overall client growth and helping clients to develop skills they can use for a life time. I believe that the client is the captain of the ship while I am the co-captain!
I am ready to work with clients to help them reach their highest happy, positive potential, with a zest to go the extra mile. I know that seeking therapy can be a difficult decision for some and I am here to make the journey as reassuring and positive as possible. I am here to meet you wherever you are!
Looking forward to working with you, peace and happiness,
Ashley :-)
