About
Therapy is where you meet vulnerability and explore your whys and why not. Without vulnerability, you might live disconnected from this world and yourself. Through my modalities, I hope to assist you in connecting your thoughts and exploring your emotions and understanding them in a greater capacity. With CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, addressing the here and now, exploring core beliefs and how they impact adulthood; I hope to assist you in meeting vulnerability and accepting where you are. I look at therapy as more of a proactive approach rather than a reactive approach, so you can manage the next obstacle that you are presented with. Through therapy, I hope you can find your voice, explore your vulnerabilities, and embrace your thoughts and emotions with a different perspective, one that can best help you achieve your goals and better your every day. I am one to challenge and to encourage. I look toward solutions when appropriate. I will always meet you where are and apply best practices to assist you in getting to where you want to go. With my background working with persistent mental health diagnoses over the years, I incorporate my experience and knowledge through psycho-education as a core focus of my practice. I come with experience working with early childhood, school-aged children, nonprofit organizations working with historically underserved youth, and mental health/ SUD treatment centers. You can find me hanging with my pup or listening to Brené Brown’s podcast. I look forward to meeting you where you are: mentally and quite literally-virtually, wherever you might be.
