Hello! I am licensed in California as a clinical professional counselor, and I have been in practice since 2004 when I graduated with a Master's Degree in Psychology. With over 17 years of experience, I have worked in the school system, for an outpatient mental health clinic, private practice, and taught college-level psychology courses. I have extensive experience working with issues related to anxiety, depression, loss, self-confidence, life transitions, adjustment, eating disorders, relationships, parenting, families of origin, blended families, LGBTQ and more.

My primary therapy orientation is laid back and person-centered, which I believe is the most important part of the therapeutic process. In other words, creating a safe, non-judgmental space for each person to speak openly and honestly about their experiences. Assisting others in becoming their true authentic selves is a passion of mine, and witnessing the inner peace that comes with that is truly a reward in itself.

Throughout this process, I utilize techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Process Therapy, Solution-Focused and Narrative Therapies. We can work on goals, explore barriers, and/or just chat. Either way, I look forward to getting to know you!
