About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 10 years of working experience in the mental health field. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced a wide range of challenges, from depressive and anxiety symptoms, to life transitions, relationship challenges, as well as grief and loss. I have also worked with both adults and children struggling with trauma histories.

My counseling style is one that is compassionate, nonjudgmental and client-centered. I believe in treating individuals with respect, autonomy, and sensitivity to any and all of life's struggles. I aim to help individuals gain self-awareness and find meaning while working together collaboratively. My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic and solution-focused. I adapt my approach and treatment planning based on your individual needs. I have worked in hospital settings, private practice, state agencies, and school settings.

It is not always easy to take the first step in seeking out additional supports to improve our own well-being. I am prepared and look forward to working along side with you while we navigate those challenges, together.
