Many people go through life with some level of trauma or abuse that they have sustained without even realizing that it plays detrimental role in development. Upon building my own level of cognitive awareness to work in this field, I have realized that I have always wanted to help others who might not be able to see their own full potential yet as every person is capable and deserving of growth and healing.

I have been practicing mental health counseling for the past several years and find therapy a truly useful tool for anyone who is struggling, whether it is a crisis or long-term issue. My treatment philosophy is pragmatic; the treatment that works best is the one that clients participate in and have confidence in. This involves attention to improving areas of concern including lifestyle behaviors and relationship.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional with international recognition, I bring an array of experience and modalities when working with clients. I completed my Master’s Degree in Mental Health and Wellness and my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology both at New York University.
The main goal I try to encourage is to help clients learn to love themselves and work through those stressors that impact daily life. I have found that taking a holistic approach to therapy helps a great majority of clients that she sees, focusing not only on the inner health of the body but also the outer health. I have worked in many different arenas that include substance abuse, couples and families, crisis management, women’s issues, as well as the LGBTQ+ community.
