About

My name is Ashley Carson, LMFT The care I provide is unique to the individual and done in a collaborative and supportive environment, at a pace that is unique and protective of your well-being. The goal is to provide a safe and authentic space to help explore areas of your life that are unsatisfying while providing containment and management of mental health difficulties. My approach I encourage and foster the ability to ground into the present, increase self-nurturance, self-compassion, resilience, and increase agency in your life. My work is done through a combination of therapeutic modalities and interventions with evidence-based practices on a foundation of values, mindfulness, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. My focus I offer individualized care treating individuals, couples, and families experiencing mental health challenges. I specialize in treating eating disorders, trauma, C-PTSD, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, transitions, and co-occurring diagnoses. My communication style My goal is to stand with you in finding freedom and comfort through the ebbs and flows life tends to throw our way. I encourage authentic expression, empowerment, and agency over your life. When working together we can explore what your needs and desires are in a compassionate, authentic, and non-judgemental safe space. My journey to therapy I had wanted to be a therapist since I was about 12 years old in middle school because of my curiosity of human behavior and relationships. My gratitude and passion are having the honor to bear witness to people healing and the ability to offer compassion, support, and connection. My goals for you My approach is always collaborative and the client is the expert of their life and needs. My first session with you Getting to know the client better and working together to set goals and expectations of therapy.
