Hi! I am Ashley, and I graduated with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 2014. I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in Indiana and Michigan with over 5 years of experience working as a therapist and with 4 more years of previous experience with children and families after obtaining my undergraduate degree in psychology in 2009 (Taylor University-Upland, IN). As a therapist, I have worked with clients from early childhood to late adulthood with a wide range of presenting concerns, including addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, and in multiple settings, including home-based and inpatient treatment.

My therapeutic style is individualized, strength-focused, and warm. I believe in treating everyone as I would like to be treated with kindness, respect, and sensitivity. My approach is most strongly influenced by Attachment & Interpersonal Theories, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Systems Theory. I will adapt our dialog and treatment plan to meet your individual needs.
