Ashley Doerge is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist. Ashley received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2011 and her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a specialization in Substance Use Disorder Counseling from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2015. Ashley completed a 45-hour training with the National Anger Management Association in 2018 to become a Certified Anger Management Specialist. Ashley has extensive training in community behavioral health, working in case management, individual therapy, group therapy, and coordination of care. Ashley's interests/specializations with treatment include co-occurring disorders, substance misuse/addiction, anger management, grief, and coping, depression, anxiety, vocational exploration, managing stress, and relationship conflict. Ashley utilizes a holistic model of treatment, a client-centered approach (meeting clients where they are in life), strength-focused interactions, and a non-judgmental perspective.
