Welcome! I'm so glad that you are here. Life is an incredible journey and just like any adventure, there are occasional obstacles, dead-ends, and pit stops that complicate matters or completely derail us from where we are going. As a therapist, I truly believe that my clients have the answers they need; it is my job to ask the right questions while providing support and encouragement along the way. I have worked with both adults and children in my 20 years as a social worker. Serving my clients is my passion; therapy is what I am called to do. I have worked in the outpatient community mental health, hospital, and school settings; clients have included those living with severe mental illness and substance addiction, individuals grieving the loss of loved ones, patients and families facing major medical procedures and chronic illnesses, and children with emotional and behavioral disorders. After seven enjoyable years in private practice, providing predominantly individual therapy to adults, I am excited to have the opportunity to expand my client reach.
I received a BA in psychology from Bellarmine University in 2000 and my master's degree in social work from the University of Louisville in 2002. I became a Certified Social Worker (CSW) in 2003 and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2013. Let's get started!
