My name is Ashleigh Weckesser and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in North Carolina. I completed my undergraduate degree from Meredith College and my graduate degree from North Carolina State University. I work with individuals who experience depression, stress and anxiety, as well as those coping with life changes. I also have experience in the areas of coping with grief and loss, motivation and self-esteem, anger management, bipolar disorder, and mood disorders.
My therapeutic style involves cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. Individualized care is required to make the most out of your sessions. While working together I would tailor an individualized treatment plan to assist you in working through your concerns. My goal in treatment is for you to feel supported, cared for, and capable of moving forward in the direction you choose to go. Taking the first step to seek out support can be difficult.
