About

I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I received my M.S. /Ed.S in Couples and Family Counseling, December 2008. I have currently been licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors for 10 plus years. I recently received my Certification by the National Guild of Hypnotist as a Hypnotherapist October 2019.

Prior to my graduate studies, I attended North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I have received a significant portion of my clinical experience working in community mental health, serving in various roles from in home direct care, to quality assurance and Clinical Director. I have provided supportive services to specialty populations including individuals with developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as persons struggling with Personality Disorders, utilizing DBT Principles.
