Hello, my name is Arturo but I go by Art. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) . I graduated with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2013. Since my graduation, I have worked with several state agencies assisting youths, adolescents and adults in areas including Co-occurring Psychiatric and Substance Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Autism, Vocational Rehabilitation, and traumatic life changes. My counseling style can be described as welcoming, open and interactive. I believe in treating everyone equally with respect and there is no such thing as a "dumb question". I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Existentialism. I am passionate about helping others identify and achieve their goals through therapy and obtain sense of fulfillment.
