About

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Texas and California with over 10 years of experience. I have worked with clients from all walks of life and a range of concerns including relationships and marriage (and non-traditional arrangements), depression and anxiety, PTSD and trauma, personal growth, self-esteem and self-worth, and LGBTQI+ issues. I have also helped many people struggling with substance use issues. In our sessions, we will work together to address the issues that have motivated you to come here, improve your life satisfaction, and find balance. We will collaborate to create healthy goals and I will help you to achieve them. My counseling style is warm, interactive, and empathic. I enjoy being genuine, direct, and believe that understanding is at the core of all the work we do together. I treat anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and humanistic counseling and is tailored to your unique and specific needs.

My background: I grew up in Switzerland and moved to the US at age 22. I earned my Master’s degree from National University in San Diego, CA. I value diversity, different backgrounds, cultures, perspectives, and mindsets. Embracing and learning from others has profoundly shaped me and how I approach therapy and counseling.
