BACKGROUND Dr. Ariela Bellin is a licensed clinical psychologist in Brooklyn, New York. She earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University, at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since beginning her training in 2006, Dr. Bellin has gained a wide range of experiences in community outpatient mental-health clinics, hospitals and residential treatment settings. She has extensive experience working with teenagers, young adults and adults, as they navigate through life's challenges and changes. Dr. Bellin aims to empower those she works with so that they can experience happier, healthier, more fulfilling lives. AREAS OF PRACTICE Dr. Bellin specializes in therapy for anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma. She has particular experience working with young adults- as they work toward personal, professional and relationship goals. She also offers support for parents and new mothers, helping them become more confident and secure in their abilities. ADVANCED SPECIALTIES Dr. Bellin has advanced post-graduate training in psychoanalytic therapy, compassion focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Her specialized training in both insight oriented and cognitive-behavioral approaches allows her to tailor treatment to the specific needs of each person. She is also well versed in grief counseling-for both adolescents and adults. CURRENT INTERESTS Dr. Bellin's current interests include post-traumatic growth, mind-body healing, self-compassion and wellness practices.
