About
Therapy is not a profession limited to acutely mental ill. Instead, therapy is a process of growth and improvement for all individuals who want to invest in themselves. As a professional clinical social worker, I mentor my clients through their journey from despair to aspirant while ever cautious to their unique needs. It is a process that I haves successfully mastered during my interactions with a culturally diverse population. My feelings of satisfaction is unparalleled when I hear my client’s voice express the words “I feel better.” In a therapeutic partnership, we can offset the turbulent times that plague the fibers of happiness with strategies that enhance resilience and fortitude. Join me on this quest for inner strength and life skills enrichment so that the personally treacherous stumbling blocks can be permanently crumbled.
My primary therapy orientation is person-centered, I strongly believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is paramount for client growth. I maintain that therapy should be an authentic experience, and the client’s need to be heard, valued, and understood is primary. I see my role as both a leader and listener in treatment to promote client growth. The decision to start the journey of introspection, self-evaluation and enhanced life is a serious and could be overwhelming. The journey we are about to undertake is filled with trials and tribulations. However, harvesting the fruits of this labor is the sweetest recompense and where the most growth occurs. The journey begins with taken that first step aboard the ship, and I wish to be there with you.
Each client is unique and requires a tailored made treatment to help them reach their goal. I use a myriad of theory and techniques from, CBT/DBT, Interpersonal Process Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Psychoeducation, and Solution-Focused Therapy among other modalities.

Also, I have done work with clients involving career path, self-esteem/self-confidence, coping skills, life-transitions, and everyday issues.
My mission lies in helping people to gain the tools to live happier and healthier lives. Please let me be part of your journey to success.
