Hello, my name is Arasha, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over seven years of experience. I aim to provide a safe space to hold and help you explore emotions, thoughts, and difficulties. I believe in the importance of using somatic approaches to help you build self-awareness and cultivate a deeper connection between your mind and body. What is your approach to therapy? I understand that therapy can be a difficult place for expression and a process that takes time and patience. I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your unique experiences and perspectives. I use an eclectic approach that draws from many therapeutic styles and techniques. I always provide trauma-informed, social-justice-oriented practices and use existential, humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and dance movement therapy modalities. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? As your therapist, I work on creating a culture of feedback to help strengthen the therapeutic relationship. This process helps build a solid foundation for the therapeutic process, establishes trust, and promotes your autonomy as you take an active role in your healing process.
