About

I am a licensed clinical social worker born and raised in Southern California. I have been working with families and individuals for 13 years and have found my work with children and families particularly helpful in working with individual adults. I have also worked with trauma as well as with young adults who are developing new lives and careers. After completing my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Women's Studies, I thought the best use of my time would be to pursue a career in Social Work.

My style tends to be very interactive and fun with warmth as an underlying tone. I believe that in life we all struggle to find purpose and we sometimes over think it. This is why I believe in treating everyone with respect and I always come with the upmost curiosity about the people I meet in order to explore what that purpose might be. My techniques will combine cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches, as well as solution focused techniques. I have learned that the best approach is to uniquely tailor to the needs of the individual sitting in front of me.
There is great strength and vulnerability in reaching out and finding additional supports and help for yourself. I welcome you and acknowledge your courage. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you.
