About

Hello loves! I am licensed in Michigan as a Master Level Clinical Social Worker and I have been practicing individual and as needed couples and family counseling for over 10 years since I graduated with my Bachelors degree in 2006. I am also a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with an extensive history working substance abuse and recovery needs. I have worked in a variety of settings ranging from outpatient clinical practice to hospitals (both the detox and mental health departments) to detoxification and inpatient recovery centers alongside community mental health. I have engaged in alternative healing modalities inclusively to the education and experience I have attained as a clinical therapist within my private practice off and on throughout the years providing reiki and energy healing as well as integrating Shamanic healing practices to help each individual person have a variety of healing modalities to meet their needs; I am aware that each person longs to connect within themselves differently to experiencing growing, healing and connection through transition in their journey.
I tend to draw in working with each person exactly where they are at and providing feedback from a heart centered and clinical space as needed upon the journey of healing and support in the container that we would hold together. Therapy can be new for some people and I am always here to explain the process and provide education and support along the way when concerns or questions become a need for discussion. My passion lies in helping each person integrate aspects of their selves that they are longing to connect with as well as heal or transition into; assisting each person in feeling at home in the home of their own bodies and the dwelling space of their hearts and minds.
I have experience working with a variety of presented journeying experiences: substance abuse, LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, women’s specific issues, trauma/PTSD, grief and loss which inclusively combines the loss of grieving we experience as we are transition through different phases of our lives. The therapeutic modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transcendental Therapy, Motivational interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, Existential Therapy and Crisis Intervention.
None of us are meant to do this journey alone! Please reach out, I look forward to being a support, guide or connection for you.
