Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Alaska. I have over 3 years experience providing therapy services for individuals, couples, and families that have difficulties related to anxiety, depression, communication, parenting-related stress, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ stressors, military-related issues, social anxiety, ADHD, and other concerns associated with trauma and stressors experienced. I have worked with adults including parents and caregivers, children, and adolescents that have experienced significant stressors and trauma in their life. Throughout my career I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient and outpatient substance abuse and mental health clinics, based in a shelter for the homeless, and working with juvenile justice pursuing child protection.

My approach to providing psychotherapy is client-centered and strength-based. I prefer to allow clients to be the guide of their treatment and to establish their own goals while I guide clients through treatment using evidence-based interventions; for example exploring their thoughts, feelings and behaviors through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and guiding change as necessary.

A little more about myself:
I graduated from University of Southern California (USC) in 2015 with a concentration in children and families. My clinical focus during graduate school and since continues to be a focus on trauma treatment. I have worked closely with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCSTN) more recently and completed a project focused on military child trauma and resilience.

Outside of being a therapist, I am a military spouse with children currently in Florida and have lived in several places in the United States. I enjoy baking, reading, playing board and video games, spending time at the beach, and spending time with family.
