About
It is my goal as a therapist to provide my clients with the utmost support during their most trying times. I have worked with children and adults as well as families in crisis. Asking for help should not be seen as a weakness but as a strength; and being strong enough to identify that you need emotional support to better your quality of life is something to be proud of. I thoroughly enjoy building relationships with my clients while supporting them on their journey to become their best self. I started my career in this field after serving as a volunteer within the community providing emotional support to individuals who were nearing end of life. These individuals experienced a range of emotions and I found the work to be extremely profound and rewarding; therefore, pursued a Masters Level Education in Mental Health. I have experience working various populations and severity of illness and have over 8 years of experience in direct practice. I have previously worked in a Hospital setting ranging from the Emergency Department to NICU, ICU, Oncology, Postpartum, as well as outpatient Mental Health Crisis Clinic. I have experience in treated individuals with Generalized Anxiety, Anxiety related to Life transitions or loss, Depression, difficulty with adjustment and stress. I enjoy creating an environment where clients can learn about themselves, things that trigger them as well as providing them with appropriate coping skills. I understand the struggle of opening up and being vulnerable with a complete stranger, I do. Starting therapy can be a difficult transition in itself, but my goal is to help you identify your strengths rather than weakness, and to provide you with the treatment necessary to live as the best version of yourself.
