My ideal client is someone who has a desire to make positive change. This is someone who is goal-oriented and desires to learn new ways of coping with their problems. This desire can be as simple as recognizing that how they’ve been trying to cope hasn’t been working, and they need to try something new. I see each person I work with as an individual and an expert in their lives. I utilize evidence-based practices to help people identify thoughts, emotions, and behaviors they can challenge and change to live a more fulfilled, purpose-driven life. I know how difficult it can be to ask for help, and I admire those who seek therapy. Knowing it takes time, I strive to develop a trusting, person-centered, non-judgmental environment for the people I work with.
