My ideal client knows a change needs to occur. They may not be in crisis, but they understand that there is an opportunity for growth, and they do the necessary work to achieve the goals that they have set for themselves. I assist my clients in addressing their concerns in a way that is free from judgment. My current primary focus is on substance use. I can offer clients a picture of the future of a life free from substance use. The counseling relationship is a partnership built on mutual trust and understanding. At its core is respect, understanding, and compassion.
