I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist is the state of California. I received my masters of science in Marital and Family Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Jose State University. With over twelve years of education and experience providing case management and counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families, I have adopted a strengths based clinical style, which ensures that I capitalize on all of the strengths that my clients, families, and their communities have to offer. I use this style to create a safe environment that allows me to form deep connections with clients and families; connections which are ultimately used to help clients achieve academic, social, and emotional success. I utilize a combination of modalities in working with client’s including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused techniques to aid in improving client functioning.
