Hello there and welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California that provides psychotherapy and counseling for individuals seeking help with managing day-to-day stressors, sudden life changes, crisis and trauma. I received my Masters of Social Work degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I have experience with helping others living with anxiety, depression, adjustment changes, issues of grief and loss, LGBT issues, trauma, harm reduction and behavioral change. I understand and utilize modalities that are strength-based and solution-focused. I am experienced in practice models such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, crisis intervention and motivational interviewing. I provide emphases on client empowerment, positive motivation and self-reflection utilizing a holistic approach to assist in building and developing positive coping techniques to meet personal objectives.
