About

I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Mexico with 6 years of experience working in a variety of settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief & loss, stress management, life transition, and low self-esteem/self-worth. I have also helped people who have experienced trauma. I’ve been told by clients that I am very down to earth, non-judgmental, and genuine, which allows for a safe environment and empowers clients to learn more about themselves.

My counseling style is honest, compassionate, and empowering. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is built through trust. Trust is required in order for the therapeutic process to be beneficial and for you to achieve your goals. I will encourage you to allow yourself to express any thought or emotion freely. I want you to be your true authentic self during each session. Therapy approaches I draw from include: Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. I will meet the client where they are and empower them to make changes that are essential in achieving their goals. I see therapy as a collaborative process in which we work as a team. My job is to guide you through your own journey, managing daily stressors, and lead you towards long-term growth and self-fulfillment. Treatment is individualized to each persons needs.
