I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) and a creative arts therapist (LCAT) in New York with 20 years of professional work experience. "Create the life you desire , one day at a time, one step at a time." By seeking therapy, you have taken one step towards change and growth through self care. Therapy allows for self discovery, awareness and betterment . My role as your therapist would be to help you build strengths, explore roadblocks, create meaning, recognize patterns and explore thoughts and feelings.
My expertise will be used to gently suggest tools, recognize your strengths and provide support as you express thoughts and feelings. I utilize traditional evidence based methods CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, solution focused as well as creative methods. Treatment is collaborative and person focused and moves at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Goals are based on your present needs.
