Anne Sheppard is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill School of Social Work. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), she uses a strengths based approach in which she views the client as the expert of their own life. She is committed to the process of attuning to the emotional experience of clients. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Anne incorporates therapeutic modalities that access the whole brain, and believes that healing happens from within when safety is known. As a therapist with experience in holistic residential treatment, in-patient psychiatry, community mental health, and school based therapy, she is down to earth, compassionate, reliable, and informed.
