Hello, my name is Anne. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado and graduated in January of 2011 from Walden University with a master’s degree in mental health counseling. Since then I have worked in a private practice setting, as well as a residential community behavioral health facility. I specialize in trauma and have helped my clients work through crisis, trauma, psychosis, family dynamics, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.
My goal is to create a non-judgmental, open-minded atmosphere in which you can feel free to share your story. I invite you to engage in an exploration of who you are, discover who and where you want to be and work through your journey of self-discovery. We will work together to search for and develop tools to help you cope with what life throws at you and maintain confidence in knowing who you are through these times. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach as I find that approaches such as; solution-focused, mindfulness, CBT and individual therapy have been most useful in developing an integrated approach that works for my clients.
The decision to seek professional help in this manner can be daunting and my hope is to create a space where you are comfortable and feel heard.
