Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado. Though I have traveled near and far, this is my home state. I returned to Colorado because I missed the majestic mountains, crystal clear, blue skies, 300 + days of sunshine, and of course, breathtaking taking views of this state during our snowy winters!

I have been working in the mental health field for over 25+ years. My experience includes working with individuals and their families in a variety of settings; some of those include community organizations, hospital settings, residential, in-home, correctional environment and in the school setting. I have experience with a wide range of clinical issues, which include, anxiety and stress-related issues, depression, attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anger and aggression, intellectual/developmental disabilities, trauma, and abuse issues. Additionally, I’ve worked with those experiencing relationship issues as well as personal finance issues.

My counseling style is client-centered, strengths-based, holistic in nature (solving problems by thoughtful consideration of the whole person) and culturally sensitive. I strive to ensure that I provide an environment that is non-judgmental, and supportive. My approach is eclectic and determined by individual client needs. I will primarily utilize evidence-based techniques such as mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, and family systems therapy.

We all need someone with whom we can share our victories and achievements, as well as the challenges life, can sometimes present.
