Anna Themas is a Professional Counselor. She is married and has a blended family. Aside from spending time with her husband and two children, she enjoys reading, spending time on the river, and walking her dog. Anna has a Bachelors of Arts in psychology with focus on sociology and organizational leadership from St. Ambrose University where she taught for a number of years as an adjunct. She earned a Master’s of Science in Education in Counseling at Western Illinois University. Anna presently holds dual licensure and is a nationally certified counselor.
Specialties: Anna provides counseling to individuals ranging from age 17 through adulthood. She has experience working with adults who have experienced trauma including complex trauma, those diagnosed with PTSD, as well as reproductive trauma. Anna has been trained in Trauma-Informed Care, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Crisis Care, Healthy Parenting, and Cultural Competency. Anna’s other clinical interests include, but are not limited to business professionals, life transitions, women, performance enhancement (life and occupational) and therapy for therapists.
