As no two individuals are the same, I tailor my work with each client to address the challenges unique to them. As Ward Foley has stated, “We are not given a good life or a bad life. We are given a life. It is up to us to make it good or bad.” I am glad that you found this platform and have taken the courageous first step of being here! When working with clients, I focus on their strengths and their ability to create lasting change for themselves. I began my career working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I completed my Master’s in Social Work at the University of South Carolina. For over seven years, I have worked with a wide range of populations facing a wide range of issues, from hospice to trauma, crisis, and substance abuse counseling in an inpatient setting, to most recently, in the past two years, practicing individual counseling in a purely outpatient setting. I am skilled in crisis management and trauma-focused CBT, having worked in an inpatient mental health setting for three years. I look forward to assisting you in achieving your goals, whether you are looking for long-term therapy to sort out past hurts or short-term therapy to see your way out of a difficult situation. You don’t have to be alone on this journey. I will help equip you with new tools that will serve you for years to come in being your best self and help you find solutions you already have within you but haven’t been able to access.
