I am a licensed mental health counselor and qualified supervisor, who has been working in addiction and mental health field for over 18 years. I have begun my career in the substance abuse/mental health field in 2002 upon obtaining Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Since then I have worked in all areas of treatment, behavioral health technician, forensic case manager, substance abuse and dual diagnosed counselor, and in recent seven years as a clinical director of residential and outpatient treatment center. I earned Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University in 2007, and became a LMHC in 2012. I volunteered professional services to the Wounded Warrior Project and volunteered time facilitating equine therapy through Gratitude America Program for veterans. In 2012 I was trained as an EMDR clinician and am currently seeking EMDR certification. Throughout my professional career I have found tremendous joy and honor in being hands on clinician assisting clients with diverse intensity of mental and substance abuse issues. I have walked with my clients through simple to complex life adjustment, traveled through most intimate and painful memories, and witnessed healing through holistic venues of clinical approaches that I specialized in.
By heart I am an Existentialist therapist who will assist you in finding your own meaning in life. Through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution Focused approaches I can support you in your process of healing and becoming best self.
