Hello! I am a Professional Counselor licensed in the state of Louisiana. I have been in the counseling field for over ten years. I have enjoyed the privilege of helping people in a variety of settings, including pyschiatric centers, group homes, and private practice, covering issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, family conflict, trauma, and grief and loss. My counseling style is best suited for those who are ready to look at and explore how your past experiences may be impacting your mental health and behavior in the present. This impact could be in the form of anxiety, anger, poor boundaries with others, or other relational problems. This journey of discovery is not a quick fix, and I know it can be difficult work. I am compassionate and non-judgmental through the process. I am particularly interested in supporting individuals through grief and loss, and I believe this should be done patiently as all too often people feel "rushed" through grief or disappointment.
