Currently located in Houston, TX, Anna is pursuing her doctorate degree in Mind Body Medicine with a Specialization in Integrative Mental Health from Saybrook University. She specializes in faith based counseling, creative arts therapies, and mind body medicine.

Anna received her master’s degree in Drama Therapy from New York University, where she worked as the expressive arts liaison to facilitate the integration of the dance, music, art and drama therapy departments.

She has worked with a myriad of populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including a forensic psychiatric unit at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, the Veteran Affairs Hospital in West Haven, Conn., and a day program in Brooklyn, New York, for individuals with chronic and persistent mental illnesses. She worked as the expressive arts therapist on the Ellenhorn PACT team in New York City. She also works for The Menninger Clinic as a clinician on their private assertive community treatment team.

She has continued her therapeutic education with training in open dialogue, psychodrama and other expressive modalities. A registered drama therapist, she also serves as a representative on the North American Drama Therapy Association. Anna is also a RYT200 Registered Yoga Teacher and has trained in cognitive mindfulness based therapy.

She believes in the power of maintaining a wholesome physical wellbeing. Whether she is utilizing mindfulness, improvisation, dance, poetry, drama or yoga, she conducts therapy through many different creative lenses and believes that the physical body can foster individual growth and promote personal wellbeing.
