Hello.
My name is Ann, and I treat clients in Ohio who have stress, anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, and who are coping with grief and loss. I am also interested in helping people through work and career difficulties and other life stages. Therapists, like myself, often have worked in many settings and so are comfortable hearing problems both small and large.
What matters most in therapy is always how the client feels about the relationship with the therapist. The therapist is responsible for offering you the most help in a format that fits your personality, needs, and growth style. Making adjustments while keeping balance is a challenge and the pace is always up to you. Some people thrive on goals and others are seeking acceptance, listening, and kindness. We all need a balance of both.
I will format my style of dialog and treatment to meet your unique and specific needs. If you already understand where you are stuck, then we can start there. If you are not sure, then I am excellent at helping people figure out the bigger picture. It will always be up to you to make the final decisions for your life. It takes courage to seek out a more purposeful and happier life. Sometimes it will take a little time for me to fully align and understand your perspective.
