About

I am a multiracial therapist serving all communities in Colorado. My mission is to reach as many people as possible no matter race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, creed, or background. There is no story too dark for me. It is my role to not only listen, but to empower, help, advocate and encourage you to find ways to function better in this life. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationships, life changes, and self-esteem.

Therapy works best when you are open, willing and show up as yourself. If you're not quite there yet, that's okay. There are many things that can get in the way of being an open and willing participant of therapy such as lack of trust. My initial goal as your therapist is to work on building trust and to allow you to be in control of the pace and where we go. Trust is huge! It's a foundation of relationships and this one is no different.

I use a variety of evidence-based tools and techniques to aid me in this process of helping you such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and person-centered. I value growth and development so I will be focusing on becoming certified with EMDR and cognitive processing therapy (CPT) in the near future.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my baby boy who is 11 months old, my husband and our two fur babies. I enjoy baking, listening to music, and learning about the metaphysical. Spirituality is important to me and it's an area I'm very comfortable incorporating into therapy! I look forward to working with you.
