I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California with over 14 years of experience working as therapist in a variety of different setting. I have worked for various Counties in the State of California for over 12 years. I began working as a clinician, promoted to Supervisor for Children’s System of Care and retired as Deputy Director of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. When I retired from County work I went to work as part of a Forensic Psychiatry Team providing services in jails and prisons. I have always had a small private practice and currently I am completing my PsyD in Clinical Psychology with a projected graduation date is December 31, 2021.

I have cultural experience with generational trauma with the Native American Communities. I have a wide range of training and am trained in: Didactic Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy with adults and children, EMDR. I work with many different types of disorders such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, generational trauma, physical and emotional trauma.

For years I have told my clients both through work and private practice; “Therapy is not for ever it’s to give you tools, my job if I do it well is to give you what you need to accomplish your therapeutic goals and objectives so you can move on through life.” My approach combines the therapeutic tools I have at my disposal and tailor them to meet your specific needs.
