You will need to complete this setup in order to confirm your appointment.*** As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience, I am grateful when I am asked to share in a mental health recovery journey. I will utilize your individual strengths and motivations to support you in continued growth with a focus on adjusting to life changes, experiencing losses, navigating relationships, seeking personal development and overcoming issues that interfere with the enjoyment of life. In therapy I focus on making every experience a learning experience by explaining what and why of things. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to look at how situations affect both mind and body. I use mindfulness to focus on current life possibilities in spite of your past. All techniques require you to be an active participant in your own journey. In counseling sessions, you will have a witness to your growth and personal development. During our first session we spend time discovering goals, strengths and motivations as well as efforts tried and life experiences.
