I typically service individuals and communities that are more impacted by social oppression and exclusion, causing them to have less access to effective mental health care. This includes yet is not limited to: preteens and adolescents, emerging adults, elderly adults, Black and Brown/BIPOC, immigrant, Caribbean, Latinx, LGBTQAI2S+, and people who are neuro-diverse/atypical (ADHD, gifted, autism). I use creative interventions often in my sessions to encourage emotional processing & focus on developing skills to restore and maintain mental wellness. I use an eclectic approach based on the client’s needs.
