About

I am a clinical social worker, licensed in Texas and Minnesota, with over 6 years of experience providing mental health services. I have worked with clients who have a wide range of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, relationship issues, life stressors, and grief and loss. I have also worked closely with clients who partake in self-harm behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy guide my counseling approach. My counseling style is warm, engaging and focused. It's important to have an open, safe space to discuss and explore stressors; I also believe it is important to identify goals and develop effective action plans.
