Angela believes in treating the WHOLE person in order to treat the situational stress and obstacles a person is experiencing. She believes that we, as humans, are exactly who we think we are, and in order to reach optimal change in our desired areas, we have to change our thoughts and feelings about ourselves and our situations. Angela understands that the client is the expert of their life, and as the therapist, she acts as a guide to support the client along their journey. Her sole purpose as a clinician is to help others.

My counseling practices are built on a foundation of professionalism and mutual trust between the client and counselor. Angela takes pride in her practice as a non-judgmental, safe space for clients. Her counseling approach is derived from a client-centered therapy model and a cognitive behavioral therapy model. It is essential to build a course of therapy focused on the client's current concerns and needs.

Angela received her Bachelors Degree at Texas Tech University with a Major in Psychology. She went on to obtain her Masters of Science in Counseling and School Counselor certificate from University of Houston Clear Lake. Angela is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors.
