Hey there! My name is Angela and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the Capital Region of New York State. I have 5 years of experience working with adults in individual and group therapy, as well as a history of working in community and residential based mental health.

I do want to acknowledge the strength and courage it can sometimes take to seek out and engage in therapy. I am here to provide support in a judgment free zone. I use an eclectic approach to therapy and am flexible and open to what best suits you. While my main style is a strengths-based approach to encourage personal empowerment, I do have experience with different modalities including trauma informed theories, treatment of personality disorders, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger, adjustment disorders, and trauma.

I believe that a therapeutic relationship is a professional one and every person is an expert in their own life, sometimes people just need some extra support. We will work together to determine your obstacles or goals and work towards overcoming or achieving them. I do understand that finding the right therapist can take time so please know that I will not take offense if we try this out and feel it isn’t the right fit. I look forward to working with you!
